KDOC FY 2011 Annual Report Available
This edition of the annual report represents a substantial change in reporting practices by combining two publications - the annual KDOC Statistical Profile and the KDOC Annual Report, resulting in a more comprehensive and more streamlined report. Included are the FY 2011 highlights and initiatives, along with detailed statistical information on the Kansas correctional system.
KDOC Attends Offender Employment Retention Specialist Training
The Kansas Department of Corrections was well represented at the National Corrections Academy/National Institute of Corrections (NIC) Learning Center’s Offender Employment Retention Specialist (OERS) training in Aurora, Colo., January 8 – 13. Four from the KDOC successfully participated: Zachary Burgoon, Topeka Correctional Facility; Eliott Nelson, Kansas City Parole Office/Lansing Correctional Facility; Kelli Martinez, Topeka Parole Office; and Cindy Rowland, Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is studying ways to improve long-distance travel options in Kansas, specifically what is known as “Intercity Bus” - carriers such as Greyhound, Jefferson Lines, Prestige Bus Lines, etc. Please spend a few minutes completing this survey to help KDOT better serve the citizens of Kansas.
